1990 – SDI Incorporated, operations begin in October
1991 – Formed TSD BioServices partnership
1996 – Acquired Ohmicron Environmental, merged with EnSys Environmental, and became publicly held
1999 – Acquired HTI BioProducts and Atlantic Antibodies OEM. Formed Strategic BioSolutions
2001 – Acquired AZUR Environmental
2002 – Acquired MCI assets
2003 – RapidChek® SELECT™ Salmonella launched with patented bacteriophage-based media
2004 – Listeria test launched, receives AOAC and AOAC-RI approval
2005 – DuPont Qualicon private labels SDI food pathogen testing products for use outside the US
2006 – Genomic Antibody Technology ™ (GAT) introduced
2008 - SAIC-F, NCI, selects SDI. SDI collaborates with the University of DE and Helen F. Graham Cancer Center
2009 – ISO 9001:2008 certification. Life sciences, food safety focus
2010 – Strategic Diagnostics becomes SDIX
