Meet with SDIX at Medica
Dear Customer:
Please join SDIX at Messe center, Dusseldorf this November and learn about our innovative antibody development
technology, and how it enables the clinical assay development process.
Wednesday, Nov 14,
2012
Room 812, Hall 8b
Session I:
Design and
Development of Antibodies to Complex Protein Targets for Clinical Assay
Applications (Starting at 14:00)
Abstract:
Knowledge of antigen and antibody structure as well as the intended assay
format and application dictate the strategy of antigen design, immunization and
antibody screening protocols. Genomic Antibody TechnologyTM (GAT) is
designed for development of target specific antibodies that recognize
conformational epitopes in critical assay formats such as sandwich
immunoassays. Antigen and antibody design strategies useful for different assay
formats, classes of protein targets, and clinically-relevant protein epitopes
are discussed.
Session II:
Can
2+2=22? Master the equations that create the success in clinical reagent
development and manufacturing (Starting at 15:30)
Abstract:
Antibodies are the critical component of immunoassays. Availability of
quality antibodies on a regular basis with batch-to-batch consistency is a key
requirement for IVD companies. In this session we will discuss the key success
factors of commercial scale antibody manufacturing. The topics discussed will
include: selection of antibodies (mAb vs. pAb), cell line optimization, ideal
production methods, immunization protocol development, polyclonal bulk
manufacturing, antibody customization, and the advantages of just-in-time
inventory.
Meeting Appointments:
Our
technical team is available for meetings during the show. For scheduling a meeting
with our scientists, please contact me at clegood@sdix.com with your
availability. If you prefer, you can stop by our booth (Hall 01/F10) at the show and speak with one of
our colleagues. For other product-related queries, please contact pdany@sdix.com.
Refreshments will be provided. Please register here for the seminars.
