SDIX offers collaborative options for reagent development for our customers. Our partner-oriented approach is intended to increase the overall efficiency and speed of the assay development process. By managing the immuno-reagent part completely, we help clients save time and effort in the reagent development process, enabling them to work on more projects simultaneously and focus on critical areas like assay optimization and validation.
Our reagent development strategy can be customized to fit client assay development strategies.
For example, clients pursuing a high-throughput assay development strategy may require a large number of antibodies. For these customers, we can develop multiple antibodies (mAb/pAb) in a short period. Developing a well characterized protein as an immunogen is almost an impossible task here, but advanced technologies like our patented Genomic Antibody Technology™ (GAT) can be employed to great advantage to address these needs.
Clients pursuing a single immunoassay strategy might require more sensitive and highly specific antibodies. Here, factors such as tight performance standard, coefficient of variation, intra/inter-lab performance, etc. are considerations. For these clients, we provide a consultative approach and develop an antibody (or matched pair) to suit the exact assay and platform specifications.
