The RapidChek Salmonella test kit is one of the simplest, most reliable and affordable Salmonella testing solutions. The test does not require any upfront or ongoing capital expense or extensive training to implement and use. RapidChek Salmonella has been AOAC certified to detect one cell in 25 grams in various matrices such as meat, poultry and processed foods.
By using the RapidChek Salmonella primary media, the enrichment time is 24 hours, but the system also allows for the flexibility of coupling the immuno-detection strip with conventional media resulting in a two-step, 48 hour enrichment. Regardless of the enrichment scheme chosen, either enrichment is followed by a 10 minute assay utilizing an optimized immuno-detection strip.
